Refund and Replacement Policy

  1. PURPOSE

This policy explains the procedures, restrictions and requirements to receive a refund or replacement for a product or service purchased from BNE Publishing or one of its Brands; I Heart Discoveries, Discoveries Ink, or $Ads or websites; iheartdiscoveries.com, discoveriesink.com, dollarsignads.com and bnepublishing.com or at our brick and mortar location at 3050 Main Street Coventry Connecticut, or over the phone from the number (860) 498-0032.

  1. SCOPE
    1. This policy applies to all clients and/or customers.
    2. This policy describes the organization’s objectives and policies regarding refunding any transaction or replacing any product purchased from BNE Publishing through any of its various gateways including: one of its Brands; I Heart Discoveries, Discoveries Ink, or $Ads or websites; iheartdiscoveries.com, discoveriesink.com, dollarsignads.com and bnepublishing.com or at our brick and mortar location at 3050 Main Street Coventry Connecticut, or over the phone from the number (860) 498-0032.
    3. Refunds and/or replacements will be honored for the first 45 days of purchase and products warrantied or guaranteed by BNE Publishing Inc. will be honored through the specified life of the warranty or guaranty.
    4. Some products may be exempt from refund or replacement and those products will specify within the description of that product that it is exempt from refund or replacement except when state or federal law prohibits this exemption.
  2. REFUND OR REPLACEMENT OF PHYSICAL ITEMS
    1. The Definition of ‘Physical Items’ for the purpose of this policy is to include any item BNE Publishing sells that is entirely in a physical and non-digital form. This includes most items BNE Publishing sells, but excludes certain items like the art review, or any electronic media such as an e-book, music, or video that BNE Publishing resells or creates,
    2. All physical items are eligible for a refund or replacement within the first 45 days of the items purchase.
    3. If any item takes longer than 5 business days to ship to a customer (except when this is the customer’s preference or except when the product has a production time), then the item will be eligible for refund or replacement within the first 45 days of receipt of the item.
    4. Items thought to be damaged in transit must be immediately returned to shipper as our shipping partners will often cover the cost of any item damaged in transit if it is returned at the time of delivery. If an item is accepted by the customer and not immediately returned due to being damaged in transit the item may be returned for the full purchase value minus a 30% restocking fee.
    5. Any refund or replacement will only be offered if the purchased item is returned with a proof of purchase and a note which states whether the customer would like a refund or replacement item.
    6. Refunds will only be offered at the same rate as the original transaction price and to the person in possession of the proof of transaction and purchased item.
    7. Customers who would like a cash refund must provide a copy of their State or Federal government issued id and must be over 18 years of age or must provide a note from their parent, conservator or guardian authorizing the refund and a copy of this person’s government issued id.
    8. Shipping costs are non-refundable and items sent using free shipping are refundable, but minus a 30% of the items listed value restocking fee. Replacements require the payment of shipping, please include a check or money order for the cost of return shipping for any replacement item.
  3. REFUND OR REPLACEMENT OF NON-PHYSICAL GOODS INCLUDING DIGITAL MEDIA AND SERVICES
    1. Any digital media can be refunded within 30 days of the download of the product.
    2. To receive a refund for a digital media download please call (860) 498-0032 and specify the reason for your return.
    3. Digital Media will not be refunded if the consumer purchased the product with the intent to redistribute the product, is unwilling to delete the product or has found the same product on another site for a different or similar rate and would prefer to purchase it from this other site.
    4. All refunds including digital media and/or services must provide a proof of purchase to be eligible for a refund.
    5. Digital Media is refunded on a case by case basis and not all claims for refund of a digital media purchase will be processed except in those instances where it is required by BNE Publishing’s policies or applicable state or federal laws for the refund to be processed.
    6. Services can only be refunded or replaced if required by law or if there is a significant interest in the management of BNE Publishing to provide the refund. -Despite this BNE Publishing has every intention of maintaining that any client or customer is fully satisfied with any purchase made from BNE Publishing.
    7. Neither digital media or services are eligible for a cash refund.
    8. Refunds will only be offered at the same rate as the original transaction price and to the person in possession of the proof of transaction and purchased item.
  4. FORMS OF REFUNDS
    1. All refunds will be processed as a store credit good for purchases on iheartdiscoveries.com or at 3050 Main Street Coventry Connecticut.
    2. Cash refunds are offered in person only at 3050 Main Street Coventry Connecticut.
    3. Any customer can specify with their request for refund that they would like to receive their refund as a refund to the form of electronic payment used.
  5. PROCESSING TIME FOR REFUNDS
    1. Refunds will be processed in the order in which they are received.
    2. Refunds may take as much as 3-4 weeks to process, however it is our intent to provide refunds within 3-5 business days upon receipt of the request if the item being refunded is eligible for a refund.
    3. If BNE Publishing will not fulfill a refund request BNE Publishing will attempt to notify the customer or client as soon as the request is denied and will provide a reason for the denial of the refund request.
